SHRINE VEPRIC Shrine Vepric is adorned by beautiful scenery with natural cave and the brook, which in appearance reminiscent of Lourdes (France), place of the apparitions of Our Lady, and is therefore dedicated to St. Mary Lourdes. The shrine has a chapel with sacristy, the altar and confessional, and the entire experience of this place is really special for every visitor. |

SHELL MUSEUM Shell museum is one of the special sights of the city of Makarska, in which there is a collection of shells from the Adriatic Sea, but also many kinds of tropical sea, which because of its exceptional beauty, color and unusual shape attracts visitors throughout the year. This museum was opened in 1963. in the old Franciscan monastery, which today has more than 4000 shells. |

BOTANICAL GARDEN - KOTISNA On the slopes of a mountain Biokovo in the nature park "Biokovo" is situated an botanical garden, which was founded by fra Jure Radic, a franciscan, and scientist. This is especially the area of plant life that has for the role of preservation and research of plant species of a mountain Biokovo. |

OLD VILLAGE Makar, Veliko Brdo, Puharic and Kotiština are old settlements above Makarska from which the inhabitants mostly moved to Makarska. Few peoples remain in the villages, but many renew their old or build new houses.
